Rangbhari Ekadashi has special importance in Hindu religion. The legend about Rangbhari Ekadashi is prevalent in our scriptures. According to this legend, after being born from the navel of Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma got curious as to who he is. To know the answer of this question, Brahma ji started doing penance of Parabrahma. In this way Lord Vishnu appeared after being questioned by Brahma ji’s penance. Seeing Lord Vishnu in front of him, Brahma ji started crying happily. By crying like this, his tears started falling at the feet of Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu was pleased to see this devotional feeling of Brahma ji and from the tears of Brahma ji, Aamkali i.e. Amla tree was born. Lord Vishnu said to Brahma that the tree and fruit of Amla produced from your tears will be very dear to me. Whoever worships the Amla tree on the day of Aamkali Ekadashi, all his sins will end and the person will get salvation. Khatu Shyam Mela 2023: Shree Shyam of Khatu is the symbol of the faith of the people.
